Ok I sneaked this one in. This is part of one of four of our organic vegetable gardens. We're pretty much self-sufficient.
This one has spinach, turnips, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, brinjal, carrots, leeks and radishes.
....and just to make you envious ;) the rest of our garden is sprouting beetroot, onions, potatoes, peppers, gem squash, butternut, beans, peas, sweetcorn, tomatoes, too many herbs to mention, apricots, peaches, plums, almonds, quinces, figs, strawberries, blackberries, lemons, limes, kumquats, grenadilla, nectarines, citrons. I think that's about it :D Oh, I forgot the flowers - there's lots!!

Can I live with you guys? I'm tall but I take up such little room, I can sleep with the broccoli:)

Ah Kim this photo is wonderfully inspiring!

Sure, if you don't mind spending your days weeding the vegetables.
I have a cute broccoli who would love the company. ;)

I would turn into a crazy garden hermit and you would have to every morning shoo me away with a broom, I would sneak back though in the evenings and with a smile of gratifying contentment cuddle up with that cute broccoli and dream of roots soil and sun:)

Wow, how absolutely wonderful!!! :D

I love your long list of beautifulness in sustenance!

[are you a vegetarian by chance??]

When I lived in a home, and actually had a little bit of land I enjoyed growing quite a fair amount, and even had a pretty sufficient sized greenhouse! It was all self-watering, and I enjoyed checking it all out daily. Harvesting was so much fun.

I loved my herbs the best, and I still have many of those left dried and bottled. :)

Those were the days, and brings back the best of the memories from the house.

:D I can't wait for them all to get to the stage they can be picked!!!

Yes I am a 'vegehead' as my hubby would say. (For 3 years now.) My favourite saying goes - Animals are my friends, I don't eat my friends. ;)

Glad you still have wonderful memories and scented herbs. Perhaps one day you'll have all that again
